Street Design were specified to manufacture and supply the seating for a new school development in Caerphilly. Spalding seating was chosen due to the versatility of the product that allowed the creation of many curved bench and seats combinations.
Spalding curved benches and benches with optional backrests were installed to create large, flexible seating areas. Several units were installed in the school playground as well as the main entrance to the school.
The seating slats were manufactured in FSC-Certified pressure treated redwood and were bolted to mild steel frames. The timber slats were left with a natural finish, to help reduce on-going maintenance costs and the mild steel was supplied with a hot dip galvanised finish.
